We are Not the “Doers” of Our Actions

“Thoughts are arising spontaneously in response to or being driven by our past and the current environmental cues and influences. So, in no sense we can claim the thoughts as “ours” or claim we are the “thinker” of those thoughts. And, if we are not the thinker how can we lay claim to being the “doer” of our actions in the form of speech or other bodily actions?”–D. Samarender Reddy
